Easter

For our preschool Easter party, we played outside. The kids always look forward to this party since it is all outside. However, the dang weather took a turn for the worst. It was actually cold and the wind was INSANE! Made it VERY hard to do anything. Thankfully kids are kids and adapt well. So they didn't mind just playing the whole time.

For Easter weekend, we had TONS of cousins in town. We typically don't do sleep overs, but this was a special occurance. So we all swapped kids for the night. We got Carden and the boys. They had a blast staying up late watching movies. Love the memories they made.

Next morning we did an Easter Egg hunt and lunch at Nana's. Uncle Aaron got a silver dollar, and a crisp $1 bill,  for each kid in an egg. Quite the treat.

The boys re-enacted how their Granny and Grandpa Dowdle would always sit in their house. They moved all the recliners in one room and through a heavy blanket over it. It was quite the spectacle for everyone.

Easter morning was crazy. We didn't know if we should allow the kids to go through their things before church or wait. But we couldn't hold off. So we had them get dressed before coming up, then proceeded to get their baskets and go for a hunt.

We actually got it all done and the kids looked pretty sharp. Again, Cambree did amazing on their outfits.

I was a slacker mom this year. We actually didn't dye eggs to AFTER Easter, but they didn't care.
