Disneyland!! Picture overload

We decided to make a family trip to Disneyland. It was a lot of fun. I am very glad we were able to create these memories with our little family. Curtis and I were very excited about taking Brielle this trip since this was truly her first time going. Time before she was like 6 months old. 

We left on Monday night and drove to Palm Springs where we made a reservation for the night. We got there at like 11 that night. We were hoping this would make the overrall trip a bit easier. Disneyland was opening at 8 the next morning and only staying open till 6 because of the halloween fesitivities. The drive was supposed to be only about 1 1/2 from Palm Springs. We got up and were on the road about 6 am. Well we didn't anticipate LA traffic. We were in a 'parking lot' for 5 1/2 hours. We didn't end up getting to Disneyland till 11 that day. To say I was frustrated would be an understatement. Wasn't happy about it at all. But we did eventually get there. 

 Brielle had probably 20 suckers in this trip. It was her go to wait around snack haha

 So we got some money from Curtis' mom to spend at Disneyland. We went to Chilies for dinner and spent about $20. Well our change came back in 2 $5 and the rest in $1 bills. It totalled about $80 all together so you can just imagine how many 1 dollars that is. Ridiculous.

 Brielle was quite the ride trooper. She followed her siblings and if they liked it, she did. She would get scared for a second and then would put on a cheesy smile. She also learned the term 'that tickles my tummy' so she used it a lot.

This was our first day. We timed it just right and Pinnochio walked the kids into the park. Ridge cracked me up. It was like he didn't care he was walking with Pinnochio and kept looking at his map. I had to finally yell to him to look up so I could get a picture.

 First day shirts. They turned out pretty cute.

 Brielle was very nervous to start off but Pooh eased her in. We did it like 5 times while waiting for Curtis and Brecklynn and Cambree on Splash Mountain.

 She crashed and crashed hard. It was a daily occurance usually right when we were eating lunch.

 We watched the parade in California Adventure without waiting for seats and got right up front. Kids LOVED it.

 Second day. The weather was very cold and it rained a lot but it made the crowds bareable.

Because of the rain, we actually got a picture in front of the famous Pumpkin without waiting.

Day 3. The crowds were insane. I mean 40 minutes wait for Pirates and pushing a stroller around wasn't easy. But we still had fun. I borrowed my SIL Lemae's outfit she made for her daughter for Disneyland. I got so many comments on it and where they could get it. She looked so stink'n cute in it.

 Brielles favorite ride by far was Ariel. No joke we did it probably 30 times. And every time it was like her first time. She would yell and wave in excitement every time. Pretty cute.

 So Ridge and I got our turn to go on the Car's ride and we waited and waited and then we got on. Well just before the best part of the ride came up, the ride stopped. We were literally on a hill. Kind of a bummer but it was neat cause we got evacuated off the ride and got to walk on the track. We also did get a fast pass that was good for all day which was nice.

 We did Disney Jr. Live Stage show twice. All the kids enjoyed it and it was a nice break for Mom and Dad to sit and relax.

It was a very fun trip. We ended up extending to Friday since the crowds were so bad and to our amazement Friday was our best day. We got on so many rides with no wait. Ridge discovered the Matterhorn and is excited its his favorite. It was a good way to end the trip. I am so glad we got to make this special memory with our family.

We're still slowly working on our backyard. Curtis added a second course to our sitting walls. Cambree insisted on helping. 

 This was Brielle one morning for over 30 minutes because her dad left without a hug and kiss. She was devastated.

 On our way to one of the many football games. This one happened to be at 8 am an hour away so we had a very early and cold morning.

 Brecklynn and her twinner cousin Darrek. They are getting so close lately. Its cute.

Ridge's 6th Birthday

Ridge has been counting down for his birthday since January. So he's been waiting a long time. He's been hilarious with all the planning process. Unfortunately I wasn't really wanting a huge party for him this year. Just was tired. But he wasn't going to let that happen. I posed the idea of doing a playground party but he wanted a craft and costumes and pinata etc. So we ended up doing a party at our house. It had to be rescheduled and it got crazy due to Football obligations etc. He did have all his friends show up and it was fun to see them all interact together. All of them were in the preschool so they all knew each other too which made it even better. He had no clue what theme he wanted for his birthday. Every time I asked him, it changed. He did want a Ninja Turtle cake though. We eventually just used stuff we had last year for his party so it was a hodge podge of super hero party. 

 The boys played outside with balls and ballooons.

 We ordered pizza for dinner.

 We did a pinata

 And blew out the cake. It was a lot of fun. Relativley easy. These boys were crazy though. Getting them to do anything was like pulling teeth. They were all full of so much energy. It was crazy. Ridge got tons of gifts and he was so happy. I think he was satisfied with the party :)

From his Great Grandma Meikle he got a birthday package and was so excited by everything in it. He loved everything!

 On his birthday he got to blow out some candles on his choice of breakfast. Doughnuts :)

 GG came over and gave him a few couple of gifts. She's an amazing women. She is so sweet with her great-grandkids.

I still can't believe he's 6. He's grown up so much this year. He's doing awesome in everything. Excited to see what this next year brings for him. He excells in everything he does. He's already counting down till his next birthday (heaven help me) because that's the special birthday he gets to go to disneyland with his dad for his birthday.

Ridge's team pictures! We did the unofficial, sneaking way because it was so expensive. So this is as good as it gets.

 Cambree went to a day cheerleading camp. Total difference from last year. Last year she was a mess when it came to performing. This year, she was so excited.

 Ridge got to play against his good friend Carter in one of his games. Fun!

For a special treat, they let all the younger football teams run on the field with the High School team for one of the games. Ridge was so pumped. He wasn't too happy after he realized he was just running out to make a tunnel for the High School team, and not actually participating in the game.

 This was the same game that Cambree got to cheer at. Brielle jumped in the middle of the action too. She was a natural. So Cambree and Brielle still walk around the house cheering "Go Eagles, Go!"

 This was the first night that we were cold. Exciting to see the seasons change.
