After studying space for a month, we end the unit off with an astonaut training day. Its a really fun day. Its a lot of obstacle courses, etc outside. The kids start by making astronaut helmets.
Then we play a large space game
Then we do practice shooting aliens
Then the obstacle course.
We finish with a parachute game. Truly a lot of fun. Kids still talk about it.
